Labasint Forest
Labașinț is a small valley in the hills of the Western Carpathians, in the heart of nature. It is an area rich in lush oak and ancient beech forests and covers a total area of 34,000 hectares. Over time, the natural state of the area has not changed.
It is conveniently located approximately 40 minutes from Timisoara and 19 kilometers from the nearest major highway, making it an ideal location to appreciate the beauty of nature, live in an unpolluted environment or enjoy a weekend retreat.
The region’s natural treasures, which formerly included clean springs, green hills populated by grazing sheep and horses, dusty country roads and an abundance of wildlife, have all been preserved.
A Romanian countryside full of charm and beauty, waiting to be discovered.
The Labasint Forest concept includes three distinct and different areas of activity that complement each other: tourism, real estate and production.

Labașinț History
At the beginning, this village surrounded by a vast forest, was populated by 600 people who lived happily with herding and harvesting the land, in perfect harmony with nature.
In 1477, these lands were initially referred to as Labasowcz in the historical records of the area.
First owned by the aristocratic Orszag family, then by the Bannfy family, this village was part of the fortress of Soimos .
For four centuries it was largely forgotten, but in 1924 the village of Labaschinz had a population of over 500, including a mayor, a notary, a teacher, a miller and two metalworkers and a notary .
